Title: A serial killer escapes jail and assaults innocent dreams.
It was my first attempt at haiku, which is now my favorite poem style. And the following lines personify our biggest enemy. It, or rather he, is a serial killer known to assault dreams and destroying many lives. Read “A Serial Killer” with Rees Gargi.

Flickering snow
Flickering snow is a poem about a heartbroken human being. He has been through storm and thunders, but his love never wavered. And upon being shattered by the person he loved, he doubted his own self-worth. His flickering snow was the avalanche, he just did not know. If you ever feel that you are not sufficient, remember; no one is supposed to be adequate. We are flawed, we are humans, but we are not less. Have a good time.

This is a subsequent poem to “Flickering Snow.” Never Born is about a heartbroken person who waits for his paramour’s return call after a seeming break-up. She left him without any closure, and that’s frustrating and painful. He tries to overcome the overwhelming feeling of sadness. Read Never Born with Rees Gargi.

Lost Soul
A not-so-hard poem about a sleep-deprived me. Sometimes, it’s hard to fall asleep, regardless of the tired body. Our restless mind sometimes wanders, and instead of fighting it, I use the time to create poems like this. 3 hours’ sleep is enough. Right?
